I’m late… I’m late…I’mlateI’mlateI’mlate!
Don’t blame me… blame Zazzle! There’s nothing I’d rather do than get up on my soapbox and rant, but I’ll spare you readers.
But I hope you get some joy out of this page even if it’s late.

I’mlate

Sorry to be a noodge but there is a serious lack of flipping commencement by Mr. Shatterhand in these panels. With a little more leverage perhaps the yellowshirt can be angled a bit more into reverse verticallity?
By the way, very interesting scene. It seems the lower functionaries are playing games the higher ups may not know about.
The pictures also work well on their own since they have obvious types of encounter and conflict. The dichotomy is strong, too. I tend to flip through comics fast to see if the art interests me, then I look at the panels to see if the pictures tell a story, then I might read some bubbles if I think it might be a good story. I think this is the type of page that would get my interest if I were flipping through and randomly landed here.
Though he has a temper Rolf stops himself at pulling senator’s hair. Flipping might be a bit much.
Glad you like the page. I don’t really think of the technical bits of how a page works, but I’m glad it does.
“Blasphemy”, eh? I just love when some people feel that when certain things don’t fit in with their dogma, they must convince everyone else around them that it’s “blasphemy”. Even when their noses are rubbed in the evidince of their own short-sightedness.
Then again, I do admit that the officious little yellow poppinjay hasn’t actually SEEN anything yet. I just really, really dislike people labeling things as “blasphemy” just because they don’t understand them. I despise when people inisist that I accept their particular brand of dogma as fact. (Which is why I love the bumper sticker; “My Karma just ran over your Dogma”.)
THAT’S BLASPHEMY!!
Sorry, couldn’t resist. I think it’s needless to say that I agree with you.
It’s also the last refuge of the bureaucratically corrupt/inept who care about nothing except their jobs/power.
I find it particularly irritating, since Blasphemy is supposed to be a purely religious term >.<
Oh and I keep forgetting to comment; I do love the slightly misty quality of your art work. It lends a very old and very mystical feel to the setting.
Thanks… but I think that might just be me overdoing the sunlight effect…
So…. Do I want to know what happened to the big Elf bouncer?
Probably not…
We’ll get a glimpse of what happened him….
i like dwarves they make every story more fun
Excellent. Now I have a whole new comic to stalk.
Whenever your story is lacking that pizazz that other stories have, add a dwarf. Dwarves liven up even the dullest of tales, DORF FORT FTW!.
dam we didnt get to see the fight
